Most meetings will be held in the Winston School room, 7.30pm

Tea /coffee will be served after the meeting.

Reunion meeting and tea*

 

No meeting in August as so many people are away

AGM, followed by Janet Barnes; Agriculture - Wartime on the farms

 

*The Reunion meeting is a social gathering for members and former residents of the village who have provided us with their memories.

 

As a number of our members travel some distance to meetings and some are not in the ‘first flush’ of youth the committee have decided not to hold meetings during the depths of winter when dark nights and frosty lanes may make driving more hazardous.

 

 

Non-members of Pettaugh History Society are most welcome to attend meetings but are requested to contribute £2.50  to cover the costs of hiring the venue; members free.

 

 

The Winston School Room is situated just off the B1077 to Debenham on the lane which leads to Winston Church.  The postcode is IP14 6NG.  The car park is adjacent to the school room (a grassy area immediately past the room) and as there is limited outside lighting, a torch is advised.
